PAGANLAND is deeply rooted in the endless woods of the Carpathians, their history and their cultural heritage – and such is the powerful Pagan Metal they create. Their third album “From Carpathian Land” is an exciting experience for fans of mid 90’s Pagan Metal with its heroic melodies and raw energy. Release contains a new version of their iconic track “Black Mountain” and would appeal to fans of old BORKNAGAR, SKYFORGER and MANEGARM.
New album will be released on CD by Svarga Music on November 4th, 2016.
PAGANLAND's second album “Fatherland”, the follower of debut “Wind of Freedom” released back in 2013, is dedicated to all Patriots of Ukraine fighting against Russian aggression. “Fatherland” would be interesting for fans of old BORKNAGAR and FALKENBACH but with a Slavonic touch. Release is scheduled for April 27, 2015. Front cover preview is below.

Ukrainian pagan black metal of a fairly slick and accomplished sort. A stirring and atmospheric album, never too cheesy. - Zero Tolerance (UK)
PAGANLAND brings the melancholy and great atmosphere while continuing along the Slavic pagan metal like no one else seems to characterize. They cannot be mixed up with numerous other bands in this movement, because they managed to create a unique identity with their work. Really a must. - Rock Tribune (Belgium)
Surprise of the Month! Even more authentic to the areas of Western Ukraine and Carpathian mountains, Paganland is certainly worth of the attention of those into earlier works by Nokturnal Mortum and Drudkh (without an overt nationalistic message). - MetalReviews (USA)
Svarga Music announces March 4th, 2013 as the international release date for PAGANLAND's "Wind of Freedom". The band's debut album, "Wind of Freedom" is the Ukrainians' first new release in nearly five years, following a split-CD with Tini Zabutyh Predkiv in 2008. A celebration of pagan pride and a show of metal might, Wind of Freedom carries the listener on a windswept journey like no other - verily, to a mystical Pagan Land.
PAGANLAND is a group of persons holding the same views, who respect and love their native land, their nation, their language, and who are convinced that the Ukraine is the cradle of all Slavonic people with improbably interesting history forgotten and distorted for the last ten centuries. Band's members try to express their love of the native land, the nature in their lyrics and music, as well as draw attention of their listeners to the fact that not only money and lies rule the world in the period of the Epoch of Pisces. Human beings can - and must - stand up for the truth, and the truth of life has been established long ago by our ancestors. All meaning of PAGANLAND's creative activity is tribute to their land, their ancient culture, their history.
